I’m excited to introduce Amber, our first xoBeautiful project reveal. Amber was photographed at the a unique central Wisconsin Wedding Venue: The Galloway House in Fond du Lac.

Amber’s Story
When I heard about this shoot I was a little hesitant and then I thought, “Wow, another chance to get a shoot in your wedding dress without any pressure and stress on your wedding day. Sounds amazing to me!” I love what you do, your personality and how you complete any job that comes to you. My wedding photos were amazing! I feel it would be a fun and exciting thing to do or have the chance to do. The result of my pictures made me feel beautiful and realize I’m happy with everything that I have and who I am today.
As you may remember from my first post, I mentioned that I had loved ones fill out a fun survey about each lady. Amber’s Husband, Ben filled this one out for her.
Describe her in 4 words or less: hard working, determined, beautiful.
Why do you feel she needs this day to feel beautiful and be a model for the day? Because our wedding went way too fast. She and myself didn’t get to appreciate how gorgeous she was on that day.
What makes her special? She can drive trucks, tractors and equipment during the day and still get dolled up at night and expect me to take her out to a fancy dinner. She’s the best of both worlds
What do you wish for her in life? To be successful in whatever career she wants to pursue. Most of all to be happy.
What is her dream job? Photography. She does it or edits photos every spare minute she has every day.
Does she have any nicknames? Yes, but they’re inappropriate.
If she could spend a day with any band/musical artist who would it be and why? Jason Aldean, that’s her “boyfriend” She thinks he’s hot.
And of course, I wanted to hear all the fun details from her wedding and engagement!
On September 21st, 2013 in Klondike, Wisconsin I had the opportunity to share an amazing day with Magdalene Photography.
The ceremony was at my soon to be husband’s family owned church. My mind was set on being married close to his and my home towns. The church had a huge tragedy though and was lit on fire. It took a huge toll on out family but many hours of hard work from family, friends and strangers brought back this church to the community and right in the nick of time for my wedding.
I was the first bride to walk down the isle. My eyes just wondered around the newly painted beams and hand crafted boards that were not even existent a few months before. Even with something so bad that happened people poured their hearts and souls into this re-creation. I lit the isle with lanterns and has a high school friend great my guests with brightly colored flowers to welcome everyone into our new lives as husband and wife.
After the ceremony because of my husband’s engine revving desire we burned off in an old Ford Truck. Literally burned out with burnouts!
To follow we had a photo shoot in a junk yard next to trucks full of many family memories of the good old days and vehicles grandparents, parents and relatives owned.
Our next stop was where Ben proposed to me. A rustic little place called Chives that is now Ben & my date night spot.
To end the night we chose a rustic wooded setting at the The Tundra Lodge, Green Bay, WI. The room was filled with lanterns, leaves, family, friends and the feeling of happiness. There was nothing I ever had to regret about that day as I realized it was everything I ever dreamed of.
So when I thought back of a chance to re-live such a great memory and feel the way I felt as a beautiful bride with that dress back on I couldn’t pass it up!
My wedding photographs were amazing and I wouldn’t have picked another wedding photographer for the world!
