I’m excited to introduce Courtney, our seventh xoBeautiful project reveal. Courtney was photographed at one of the most gorgeous Egg Harbor Wedding Venues.
Courtney’s Story in her words why she wanted to be involved in the xoBeautiful project:
First of all I am always amazed by your work! In the beginning of our wedding planning I wanted a winter wedding but I was voted against by my husband 🙂 I also have a passion for photography and I think it would be so fabulous to be able to shoot a bride with your own creative ideas in mind. On my wedding day it was so busy and full of craziness I feel I didn’t get to just relax and enjoy every aspect. I can’t wait to see your work first hand. Thank you for choosing me for this photoshoot!
As you may remember from my first post, I mentioned that I had loved ones fill out a fun survey about each lady. Courtney’s husband, Brian filled this one out for her.
Describe her in 4 words or less: Giving, beautiful and thoughtful
Why do you feel she needs this day to feel beautiful and be a model for the day? The same reason why I wanted a big wedding. She is so selfless and wants to give everything to everyone that often times she is overlooked/under-appreciated. Even though she doesn’t like the attention, she deserves to be pampered and have the focus on her. That way people can see how beautiful she is on the outside as well as the inside.
When were you most proud of her? Our wedding day. The way she looked and how she made everything come together was absolutely amazing. It was a wedding that many people still talk about and won’t forget. It wasn’t her ideal way to get married but she made my dream come true and I’m forever grateful.
What makes her special? She is so giving almost to a fault. She is a amazing step mother and I’m extremely lucky for that. She loves my/our son like he is her own and he feels the same way for her. Beautiful inside and out.
What do you wish for her in life? Simple. To be healthy AND happy in all aspects of life. From the moment I met her, to today and into the future that’s all I have ever wanted and will want for her. The days when she doesn’t have to worry, is feeling great, we are able to relax and have a few laughs are the days I cherish for her (and myself) the most.
Does she have any nicknames? CJae33 and her self prescribed nickname of the Corksters
And of course, I wanted to hear details from her wedding!
Brian and I were married August 9 last year at Heritage Hill in Green Bay, Wisconsin. It was a beautiful day (a little warm). Our reception was located at the Green Bay Distillery. Everyone involved with the wedding really stepped up for me. I didn’t have to worry about a thing on that day 🙂
I will be revealing the story of each of these incredible women over the coming weeks. I invite you to come along on the journey, and find your own xoBeautiful with me.
I absolutely fell in love with this style of session, and will definitely be adding this to my session line up soon.
